bittorrentをフリーでTORより速く利用できるBitBlinder

bittorrentをアノニマスに利用するにしてもTORを通してでは速度が遅すぎるし，VPNにしてもコストがかかってしまう。オープンソースでクロスプラットフォームのBitBlinderを使えば，bittorrentをフリーでTORより速く利用できる。またBitBlinderはウェブをブラウジング中にIPアドレスを隠したり，ウェブ･フィルターをかいくぐるといった匿名ツールとして使える。BitBlinderは原理上，TORとほぼ同じ技術を基礎にして作られているが，TORのネットワークとは全く異なったp2pネットワークを使用。匿名性については，BitBlinderのネットワーク上のユーザーひとりひとりが自分のネット帯域を他のユーザーがproxyとして使うのに提供することで実現。匿名ツールとしてはTORが中国のGFWをかいぐることを目的にしているが，BitBlinderはそれ以上を目指している。通常，フィルタリングはポートのブロック，特定IPアドレスのブロック，特定プロトコルのトラフィック監視などからなるが，BitBlinderはこれらの方法に対して対策を講じている。しかしまだその効果は程度の差がある。またこうした匿名ツールの常として内部で形成されたトラフィックは最終的にネットワーク外のインターネットの広い世界に出ることとなり，だれかが出口ポイントになる必要が出てくる。そのだれかのIPアドレスはネットワークを出るトラフィックと関連づけられてしまう問題がある。ただISPにしてみればデータの中身を知ることはできないし，PCを出たデータがそこからのオリジナルなのか別の場所からのものかを判別することができないので，否認の口実にはなり得る。
