中国の高句麗遺跡が世界遺産に登録された

中国の高句麗の首都遺跡が世界遺産に登録されたが、北朝鮮の平壌付近における高句麗遺跡は未登録。世界遺産委員会は遺跡のよりよい保存のため中国と北朝鮮の両国が協力するよう勧めている。今回登録された遺跡群の中には碑文が問題となった好太王碑文も含まれている。

Dated back some 2,000 years ago, the new cultural heritage property consists of Wunu Mountain City, Guonei City, Wandu Mountain City, Haotaiwang Stele and 38 tombs for both Kogurgo Kings and noblemen.
To better protect the vanished Koguryo civilization, the World Heritage Committee recommended future cooperation between China and DPRK. In response, Chinese Cultural Minister Sun Jiazheng said"we wish the Koguryo property of DPRK could get inscribed, too. The Chinese government encourages domestic archeologists and scholars to conduct all possible cooperation with their peers in DPRK."
