中国のオフィス・フォーマット標準UOF

中国のxmlベースのオフィス・フォーマット標準UOFが年末までにリリースされる予定。中国がUOFを策定したのは国内のオフィス製品ベンダーを応援するため。UOFを通じてEvermore OffeceやWPS OfficeやRed Office2000などとODF標準が相互に使えるようになり、自然マイクロソフトのOffice OpenXMLにプレッシャーをかけることになる。またすでにsourceforgeにおいて ODF-UOF Converterがダウンロードできるようになっている。

The ODF-UOF Converter provides a way to convert docs(text/spreadsheet/presentation) between ODF and UOF. Results of the converter can be opened and displayed correctly with the corresponding office software (Suggesting OpenOffice.org 2.0 for ODF and EIOffice 2007 for UOF)
