アドビの新しいebookリーダーであるDigital Editions

アドビの新しいebookリーダーであるDigital Editionsがadobe labからダウンロードできるようになっている。シンプルで軽量のpdfリーダーとして使える。RIAリッチ･インターネット･アプリケーションなので常時接続であれば常にアップデートされた状態で使うことが出来る。pdfはPDF/Aをサポートし，xhtmlはOEBPS標準の見直しが固まるまでの間，試験的にサポートする形となっている。

Adobe Digital Editions is a completely new way to read and manage eBooks and other digital publications. Digital Editions is built from the ground up as a lightweight, Rich Internet Application (RIA). Digital Editions works online and offline, and supports both PDF and XHTML―based content.
PDF/A and an XHTML subset (enhanced OEBPS with OCF packaging) are the two publication-level content types. SWF content and common image file types can be referenced within PDF and XHTML-based publications. Note: SWF content is not supported in the initial beta release, and XHTML support is experimental, pending finalization of the upcoming revision of the OEBPS standard.
