del.icio.usをfirefoxのブックマークに取り込むfoxylicious。普通のブラウザのブックマークの欠点は，フォルダ一つの中に一つのサイトが分類される階層的な分類方法になるが，いくつもの分野に渉るサイトを分類したいときは不便だ。Ethnoclassificationとかfolksonomyとか呼ばれる自分で自由にタグが振ることを利用すれば，横断的にサイトを分類できる。例えばはてなの日記をカテゴリー分けして整理する場合日記の見出しごとにカテゴリーを設定する事で、日記を整理する事ができるがアスタリスク「*」の後に空白を空けずにカギ括弧 [ ]をいくつも書き足すことでカテゴリー分けが出来る。同様にfoxyliciousはdel.ico.us上でひとつのサイトに複数のタグ付けをしておけばタグがフォルダとなって分類されるのでサイトが複数のフォルダに割り振られることになる。
