IPTCの新しい標準規格
イギリスのウィンザーを本拠とする新聞業界団体であるIPTC国際新聞通信委員会がアムスで開かれるifraエクスポでのフロア・セッションで新しいフォト・メタデータ標準規格がアドビPhotoshop CSとXMPでサポートされることをアナウンスする予定。また、IPTCの秋季ミーティングではニュースのメタデータであるNewsML2とNewsCodesについて議題にあがる予定。
In a Monday afternoon floor session at IfraExpo 2004, IPTC will present a roundup of its XML-based standards and will announce that its standards for news photo metadata are to be supported by Adobe Photoshop CS and Adobe's XMP metadata framework. Members of IPTC will be available for questions after the session.
The week before IfraExpo 2004, the IPTC will hold its annual autumn meeting in Amsterdam. The agenda includes discussion of work toward developing NewsML 2 and a further work on IPTC's NewsCodes, the standard taxonomies for news metadata.
