itunesを使ったレコメンデーション・ツールsoundflavor DJ

itunesを通じてlast.fmやpandoraのようなレコメンデーションをしてくれ自分好みのプレイリストが作れるsoundflavor DJ。soundflavorはレコメンデーションに6年を掛けて研究・開発されたSoundflavor Recommendation Engineと呼ばれる技術を使っている。また、soundflavor DJのブランディング戦略およびウェブサイト作成はadaptivepathが担当している。

we came up with a simple design for Soundflavor DJ. It looks a lot like a physical device-such as an iPod-so it's easy to figure out how to use it. It works as a companion to iTunes, so you don't need to reimport your music into yet another piece of software. We cooked up a number of new ideas-such as the PlayStream, "Cherry Picks," and the Flavorizer, all of which make it easy and fun to spend more time rediscovering your music collection, and suggesting songs and concerts that you might want to check out based on your tastes.
