IGoogle SidebarとGoogle Gadgets Sidebar

Erica Joyのアイデアからインスピレーションを得たIGoogle SidebarとGoogle Gadgets Sidebar。Erica Joyのアイデアはgoogle igでモジュールを左側に寄せておき、firefoxに最初から備わっているサイドバー機能を利用してgoogleのパーソナライズ・ページを表示させるもの。IGoogle Sidebarはここからインスピレーションを得たfirefoxのエクステンション。一方Google Gadgets Sidebarはgoogleのガジェットを利用するもののgoogleからは独立して動くのでgmailガジェットはだめだがgoogleカレンダー・ガジェットは大丈夫など不便な点もある。

Erica suggests to create a bookmark to your Google Personalized Home page and to open it in the sidebar using a built-in feature of Firefox.
