リデザインで人気の満記

なんでもない街角の糖水の店はたいてい家族経営で姓を店名にしていることがほとんだが,ホンコンの満記はデザイナーであるトミー・リー(李永銓)のアドバイスで大胆に「手造甜品Handmade Dessert」というネーミングで人々に印象を残した。店のデザインも店主の反対を押して書斎風にデザインをした。店内のトータルなリデザインによって食器が客によって持っていかれるので店主が悲鳴を上げたが,デザイナーのトミー・リーによってよい宣伝になるとの説得でそのままになった。手造甜品のデザインによって李永銓Tommy LiデザインはAsia Award 2005で受賞している。

Honeymoon Dessert, a prestigious local dessert shop, launched a re-branding campaign. The shop was renamed "Handmade Dessert", to highlight that the dessert is fresh and handmade. The whole visual identity system of the brand was redesigned from the ground up: the tiny shop cards, menus, eating utensils and the interior design - all with a brand new look.
A series of nostalgic illustrations of Chinese children - epitomising the concept of 'sweetness', and loosely based on the personalities of Handmade Dessert's owners - have been used across all visual identity systems.
The interior design of the shop is clean and simple. Dark walnut wood is used to evoke the mood of modern Orientalism. Inspired by a reading room idea, many books and magazines are placed in the large bookshelves, making the whole shop not only a dining place for dessert, but also a reading room. Young people can enjoy desserts while reading their books; the shop also provides a nice place for chatting and socialising.
