マジック・マッシュルームとカス・カスkas-kas。どちらも自然に自生している状態なら違法ではなかったけれども最近禁止になったもの。イギリスでは生のマジック・マッシュルームは含有するサイロサイビンやサイロシンが乾燥マジック・マッシュルールよりはるかに少なく、違法ではなかったがこのたびヘロインと同じクラスAドラッグとなった。マレーシアではカレーやブリヤニ・ライスなどインド系ムスリム料理（mamak）を出すレストランで使われるケシの種が依存性があるとして多量に使うのは違法であるとされた。

KUALA LUMPUR, July 2 (Bernama) -- It is illegal to use "kas-kas" or poppy seeds in excess as an ingredient in the cooking of certain meals, Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Latiff Ahmad said Saturday.
Using kas-kas in excess in the preparation of curry dishes and briyani rice is illegal under the Food Act 1982, he added.
Kas-kas is the latex of the poppy flower that is used to make opium.
"It is wrong to use any stimulant in excess in food preparation. Nevertheless, the people need not worry because the use of kas-kas in food preparation is under control," Dr Abdul Latiff told reporters after opening the National Scientific Meeting here.

"The law has not been clear with regard to the status of fresh magic mushrooms and some have tried to exploit this apparent loophole."
Magic mushrooms, more properly known as psilocybe, contain the psychedelic chemicals psilocybin and psilocin.
These chemicals were already class A but previously the law did not apply to fresh or raw magic mushrooms which contain far less of the drug gram-for-gram than when dried.
